At next week's training sessions, from the 20th to 24th, we're asking you to wear pink to train in and as we've managed to get hold some fab pink goodies this year we're asking that our juniors (those of you up to U11) make a minimum donation of £2, and you'll get some pink laces. At our older sessions we've got hold of some Pink T Shirts, so for a minimum donation of £1 you'll be entered into a draw to win one of them. We'd also love parents to come along and join in the sessions too, we'll put them through their paces and you can show them how it's done in a game. Unfortunately the parents won't be getting any goodies for their donation, but they will be raising money for a great cause.
And that's not the end of the fund raising....on Sunday the 26th we want to you help us take part in England Netball's Net10 for Life challenge.
It's really simple, for every goal your team scores in their game we'd like you each to pledge 10p to Cancer Research. So if your team scores 10 goals and you've pledged 10p per goal, you donate £1. If 7 of a squad do this, we raise £7, and so on. If you haven't got a game then you can pick another of our teams to pledge on.
And to get things started, the club are pledging to not just donate 10p per goal scored by all our teams but to match ALL the money raised from pledges. For instance, if the pledges raise £200, the club will donate another £200. So please make sure your coach records your pledge.
So come on girls, let's get PINK !!!
